Vehicle Description This is an original 1973 Mach 1 Mustang originally with AC/C6 Auto/351-C/273 Open Axle/Vinyl split roof/AM radio/tinted glass.
It was repainted 1 time(skin only).
This vehicle was in storage for 27 years.
The engine was seized fast/ front brakes calipers stuck.
The owner took the car out of storage and delivered the vehicle to me, as I own and restore many Mustangs.
One of the gentlemen's request was to eliminate the AC system.
To do this I changed part on the fire wall and or cowl, none of which is rusty at all.
As per pictures, no rust on aprons, rails or core support.
The floor panels, trunk, and frame rails are very good.
However there is some repair need on the trunk drop off section on RH and LH sides.
Also some rust starting on both quarter panels in the usual areas, but I must add, this car would not require quarter panels as they are easy to repair, as per pictures.
Doors are very good with some cleanup on lower pinch welds.
RH fender has been repaired/ needs some work.
LH fender appears to be very good.
Hood and trunk lid are 90%- needs some work.
As per pics, the interior is sound and all there.
Seats/ headliner/ door panels are very good.
The car does need carpet and insulation.
Dash and all parts/ pedals/ heater and controls/ duct work/ switches/ steering column w/ keys to doors and ignition are all there.
The car comes with transmission and all hardware/ torque converter/ drive plate/ mounts/ shifter/ drive shaft/ starter/ engine mounts (351C) and exhaust manifolds.
This Mach 1 is very easy to fix, as to put a power train and interior installed back into the car.
The car is a very nice driver and with that being said the paint if very satisfactory for a fun car (as per pics) Call James Thomas for more information 570-864-3517.
